I received this recipe for dog snack off of PetPlace.com and wanted to share it with everyone. This could be tasty for the dogs; however, I am not sure if they are healthy are the rice cakes I posted about earlier. If you make these, let me know how they turn out and if your dog likes them.
Basic Gourmet Dog Snack:
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup water or broth (chicken or beef broth avoid bouillon with onion)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Mix together all ingredients.
3. Gently roll out to ¼ inch thickness.
4. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutter.
5. Bake 30 – 40 minutes
6. Allow to cool and store in a tightly sealed container.

Cinnamon would probably love these! You'll have to find a recipe for cat treats too, so Midna doesn't feel left out.
